Sometimes you know you won't completely ever get over someone. But, it can lead to beautiful things.

Note: the original lyrics for the second verse were:

I have known you always.
I'm certain this is true.
Your name was written on my soul,
So I would now find you.

But, truly, I don't believe in that, so I changed it to reflect the questioning I've always had regarding soul mates and destiny.

Enjoy the tune, and may you be lucky in love and life.

Forever Blue

If I never kiss you
I’ll be forever blue.
If I never know your heart,
I’ll be forever blue.
Let stars fall.
The moon can fade.
Play that final tune.
I’d rather live in darkest silence,
Than be forever blue.

Have I known you always,
Is this a myth that’s true?
Was your name written on my soul,
So I would now find you?
I want to hope
That one day soon
We could believe it’s true.
But it would seem no one can hold you,
And I’ll be forever blue.

You think there’s only one way
To break a person’s heart.
In fact, there are so many ways,
Together, or apart.
You break mine
By standing there
And simply being you.
But I will let you break my heart,
And be forever blue.
